Easter

Happy Easter everyone! I love this day. Last night I put together Easter baskets for both my boys. Sean's had candy and hot Cheetos in it and Noah's had lots of goodies, a toy monkey, and play dough! Sean and Noah got them this morning. He was most interested in the plastic eggs with candy. He would hand them to us and say "candy, open please"

We hung out at the apartment all morning and just enjoyed each others company. Then we went to church with Sean's mom. Noah didn't have a nap so he threw a couple tantrums. But we got through it. Now we are just at her house with her, her boyfriend Scott, Seth and Onda and David. We did an egg hunt for Noah in the backyard. At first he was putting rocks in the basket. He had a lot of fun getting the first egg. Then he saw it had candy and that was all he was interested in. Haha it ended up being us picking up all the eggs. We had dinner and then afterward all said our testimony of the resurrection. It was a good talk.

I'm grateful for this season and the time it gives us to reflect on our thoughts of our Savior. I know that Jesus Christ lived and died for us and was risen again. I know that because if his sacrifice we have the opportunity to use his atonement in our lives and repent and return to our Heavenly Fathers presence. There was a talk one conference that talked about all of us having our own Fridays and Sundays. The talk is titled "Sunday Will Come" by Joseph B Whirthlin. Here is a quote for it:

"Each of us will have our own Fridays—those days when the universe itself seems shattered and the shards of our world lie littered about us in pieces. We all will experience those broken times when it seems we can never be put together again. We will all have our Fridays.

But I testify to you in the name of the One who conquered death—Sunday will come. In the darkness of our sorrow, Sunday will come.

No matter our desperation, no matter our grief, Sunday will come. In this life or the next, Sunday will come."
